Tracking pixels in emails

Some electronic communications sent by ARPEJ, in particular the newsletter, may include a technical device called a “tracking pixel”.

A tracking pixel is a very small image, generally invisible to the recipient, embedded in an email. When the message is opened, loading this image makes it possible to know whether the email has been read.

ARPEJ uses these tracking pixels to:

  • measure the opening and reading of its newsletters;
  • better understand the interest shown in the content sent;
  • improve the relevance of the information provided;
  • measure the effectiveness of information campaigns in order to improve them.

You can object to the use of tracking pixels via the rights request form.

When making your request, please enter the following statement in the “Description” field: “I object to the use of tracking pixels in ARPEJ newsletters.”

You can also contact the Data Protection Officer at the following address: dpo@arpej.fr.
